Mzia Mikeladze, the NISPAcee President
Dear colleagues and NISPAcee friends,I am deeply grieved to learn of death of Mzia Mikeladze, the NISPAcee President, Georgia and I would like to share this very, very sad and unbelievable news with all of you who may know her.
She passed away suddenly on Friday, January 20, evening. It is shocking news for all of us.
I believe all of you who have known her personally would agree with me, that not only her family and Georgia where she was a prominent person and irreplaceable professional, but the whole international community has lost an extraordinary personality who has devoted her life to all possible efforts for a better world.
We shall keep in our mind and our hearts not only her professional contribution, but her friendly and human approach and readiness for help, cooperation and support. We shall always regard it as an honour and privilege to have known her personally.
I took part in the funeral in Tbilisi, Georgia on Tuesday January 24, 2012 and I expressed to her family our sincerest condolence on the behalf of NISPAcee and the whole international community.
